Overview
On the auspicious occasion of Lailatul Qadr, which coincides with the Milaad Mubarak of Syedna Aali Qadr Mufaddal Saifuddin (TUS), the mumineen of Mumbai celebrated in a truly remarkable way.
Inspired by the ongoing Bayaanat Mubaraka of Huzur-e-Aala (TUS) on the importance of roti, Monginis Bakery crafted a unique cake that beautifully depicted the complete journey of roti-making.
Concept and Inspiration
This initiative reflected the deep gratitude for the immense bounty bestowed upon the mumineen—having their beloved Dai’s Milaad Mubarak on such a blessed night.
The cake symbolized the teachings of Huzur-e-Aala (TUS), especially the emphasis on roti and its significance in daily life and spirituality.
Six Stages of Roti Depicted in Cake
The cake was intricately designed into six detailed displays, each representing a stage in the roti-making process:
-
Sowing and cultivation of wheat – depicting the agricultural journey
-
Grinding process – miniature models of muminaat bairao using traditional chakkis
-
Kneading the flour
-
Shaping the roti
-
Cooking the roti
-
Final concept – “Mohabbat ni Roti”
“Mohabbat ni Roti” – The Core Message
The final display beautifully conveyed the message:
“Mohabbat ni Roti” — a roti made with the love that Huzur-e-Aala (TUS) has instilled in our hearts
This powerful concept reflects not just physical nourishment, but spiritual connection and affection.
